Made Simple

We cut through the Medicare confusion — helping California seniors find the right coverage for their doctors, medications, and budget. Always free.

Understanding Medicare Parts

Medicare has four main parts, each covering different services. Understanding them is step one.

MedicareA

Hospital Insurance

Inpatient hospital care, skilled nursing facility, hospice, and some home health. Most people pay no premium for Part A.

MedicareB

Medical Insurance

Outpatient care, doctor visits, preventive services, and medical equipment. Requires a monthly premium.

MedicareC

Medicare Advantage

An all-in-one alternative to Original Medicare from private insurers. Often includes Part D, dental, vision, and hearing.

MedicareD

Prescription Drugs

Adds prescription drug coverage to Original Medicare or some Medicare Advantage plans. Formularies vary by carrier.

Medicare Plans We Help With

Medicare Advantage (Part C)

All-in-One

Bundles hospital, medical, and often drug coverage through a private insurer — often with extra benefits Original Medicare doesn't include.

  • $0 or low-premium options
  • Extra benefits: dental, vision, hearing
  • HMO, PPO & PFFS plan types
  • Annual Enrollment: Oct 15–Dec 7

Medicare Supplement (Medigap)

Most Flexible

Fills the gaps in Original Medicare — covering copays, coinsurance, and deductibles so your healthcare costs are predictable.

  • Plans A, B, D, G, K, L, M, N available
  • Use any Medicare-accepting provider
  • No network restrictions
  • Guaranteed renewable

Part D Drug Plans

Prescription

Standalone prescription drug coverage that works alongside Original Medicare or a Medicare Supplement plan.

  • Formulary comparison across all plans
  • Preferred pharmacy networks
  • Low-income subsidy assistance
  • Annual plan review included
